I obtained a B.A. in Anthropology from Humboldt State University and an M.A. in Maritime Studies from ECU. I have experience in terrestrial and maritime archaeology, cultural resource management, and GIS. I have participated in projects in Saipan, Costa Rica, Belize, North Carolina, and California. My research interests include GIS, and Spanish colonial history and underwater cultural heritage in the Pacific.
